Davidson Flower Co. Branding Session | North Carolina
Something you may not know about me or this little business is that I thought I was going to pivot my business. In 2018, I overhauled the brand and website to include headshots, branding, and product photography. However, I quickly learned that my heart was with the babies and motherhood photography. But, I do always still enjoy throwing in a few branding sessions every year!
I was thrilled to hear from Karen at Davidson Flower Co. She is a local mom I met years ago when I signed up for one of her flower workshops with Skill Pop. I had followed along with her business over the years and watched her open a brick-and-mortar and grow her team, so it was extra fun to get to do this shoot with her!
She was fully prepared with a vision board and planning document, which made execution during the shoot go much faster and allowed us to make sure we captured all of her important shots. I loved the collaborative nature of the session and had the best time getting to know the team.
Creating Variety and Keeping It Fresh
I loved how, by planning, we could create so much variety within their session. We had several scenes to work with, and the vibe was fun throughout the day. Karen brought so many fun props to work with (including some of the most fabulous books), and we had a blast styling and photographing them all. This entire session was such a joy, and it’s been such an honor seeing them implement their new imagery throughout their business!
