Have you ever wondered what they were talking about when they said “GO BIG OR GO HOME”? They might have been talking about wall art! No, but seriously. If you plan to fill your walls with magnificently beautiful works of heART, you’ll want to check out this guide! Unless you plan to do a wall gallery (which I’m a huge fan of!) you’ll want to make sure the piece of art you choose, fills up your wall appropriately, so it doesn’t look silly. As you can see in the guide below, that takes a prettttty large print or canvas!!
This guide also gives you a bit of an idea on how each “size” print/canvas/mat, etc will crop your photo. Not all sizes are created equal. For example, you can see the 24×36 print is much more rectangular than the 20×24. You’ll want to keep that in mind when choosing your photos. There will be a crop factor, depending on the size you choose.
