It has been a bit quiet here on the blog, since I have been consumed with packing, moving and unpacking! I decided to take a quick break from it all and post a newborn session I did a few weeks ago. Mom contacted me after visiting Lake Norman 3-D Imaging, where she received a little goody bag with my information in it. She was so excited to get started with her session and had lots of ideas and inspiration we tried to execute during her session. Little girl A was a trooper through it all! She was awake during the first part of her session, but after a full belly, she fell fast asleep and let us capture some magical images of her! I WISH I had more photos of Everleigh as a newborn.
NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT try to take your own newborn’s photos when you are postpartum. It’s just not going to work the way you hope! I was able to capture a few images, but not the selection I would have had if I had chosen someone else to take the photos. Lesson Learned for baby #2!
Mom and her family were so sweet, they were an absolute pleasure to work with! I hope to see them back in the future so I can watch this little love grow!
I adore this close up image!
Mom requested this image of dad wearing his badge, and I think it came out beautifully! This is a signature shot for me. I LOVE the up close focus of the piggies, while still seeing babies face in the background! This is probably one of my favorite images from the session!Although I love this one too!
