When Baby A’s mom reached out to me and said that due to various circumstances, they hadn’t had any professional pictures done of this little cutie yet, I was so honored they chose me to capture the first ones!
Baby A was just the most lovable little thing, although it took her a good bit to warm up to the camera, understandably! Mom and dad were super sweet and fun. They embraced all of the messy parts of a cake smash session, and like me, enjoyed the little nuances that make children unique, like Baby A’s love and insistence that she use a spoon to eat her cake! You’ll get to see more of that below!
As always, we started off her session fully clothed and clean! I like to incorporate some regular portrait shots to commemorate “1 year” before getting messy!

There’s that spoon I was talking about! At this point, she realized her hands worked just as well, but she wasn’t letting that spoon go for anything! 🙂
I mean… that face. COME ON! Oh, and did I mention Grandma made the cake. Hows’s that for skills?!
