Y’all, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this family a few weeks ago; when they got to welcome their first little girl into the world!
Mom called me up last minute and said, “Is there any way you can fit us in?” And luckily, I was able to! I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet them. Mama is a photographer herself, but like most of us, we find it is nearly impossible to get photos of our own children. But more importantly, if we’re the ones always taking the pictures, we’re NEVER in them. It’s SO SO SO important to be present in the family photos that we have. You’re part of the moments that are happening, make sure you capture that!
Mom had everyone’s wardrobe done perfectly and Baby Tessa’s three little brothers (who have names that are equally as cool- and start with T!) were so adorable as they fought over who got to hold her and kiss her. That is going to be one loved (and probably tough!) little girl, let me tell you!
Here are some of my favorites from their session:
Um… HELLO… this needs to be on a great big huge canvas on a wall! The boys look so sweet!!
This photo was the boys idea (surely, they had been sneaking on to mom’s Pinterest account 🙂 ) I absolutely LOVE the way it came out! It’s so adorable!
Such a precious moment- full belly, snuggly baby!
Can you guys tell… the clean, neutral organic look is one of my favorites. It really lets the baby be the focus of the pictures, without getting too many other distractions in the image!
How precious?!
This blanket was Tessa’s and mom wanted to get some photos with her on it. I’m so glad we did! Such a precious picture!
