This Fisher Farm maternity session is one of my favorites, and would you believe it happened in the dead of winter? Luckily in North Carolina, we can usually get away with an outdoor session in the cooler months every now and then.

I’m all for living in the present. But as the weather starts to warm, and we all start to daydream about spring blooms and days spent outside, I can’t help but be excited for all the outdoor sessions happening soon.

Fisher Farm Maternity Session

Fisher Farm might just be one of my favorite session locations in Davidson, too. It has anything you could ever need from an outdoor portrait space. Parking is convenient, and all my best nooks are an easy walk. It’s simple and sweet and was the perfect location for this expecting mom and dad-to-be.

Mom, Alyssa, chose two beautiful dresses from the Client Wardrobe. She also had her makeup done before the session by the wonderfully talented Lovely By Lindsey team.

I love when my clients look into having their hair and makeup done before their session for several reasons. One is that it’s one less thing to fuss over on the day of your session. You’re able to show up, be pampered, and trust a professional to handle the details. You can relax and enjoy the day celebrating some of life’s sweetest moments. First Time Parents

These two are first-time parents, and seeing the joy on both faces during our time together was so sweet. Mom and dad booked a maternity and newborn session with me for their collection.

I’ll be seeing them again in just a few short weeks, and I can’t wait to share more from this precious family once their new little bundle arrives!
