Those of you who have had a newborn session with me have experienced a “lifestyle” type session. However, I had yet to capture a family with older little ones in a lifestyle setting and my heart was yearning to do just that at the beginning of this year. Luckily, I have a gorgeous friend and business partner who has an equally handsome family to model for me!
We started the session off by playing blocks in the playroom. This little guy has so many fun toys in his place space, including a slide! But, mom said one of his favorite current activities was playing blocks, so that’s just what we did!
I also happened to be photographing them during a big transition time. P had gotten his VERY OWN big boy bed! I was thrilled to have been able to capture this moment on a Hi pod camera for them! He was so proud to show me his new space!
And no lifestyle session would be complete without jumping on the bed!
I tend to LOVE the shots that some clients may not necessarily have framed on their wall. But they show the details, the moments, the little things that will so quickly be forgotten.
We MAY have used some donuts as bribery towards the end of the session… I mean you can’t deny that genuine smile!
