This Charlotte, NC, milestone session was such a treat. I’ve gotten to know this precious girl and her family over the last several years (this session is from a couple of years ago. Yes, I’m still catching up!), and it’s been the sweetest gift to know them and hear their story. Being able to document this precious season for you and your family is such an honor for more reasons than one.

Sweet Isla

This family is one of the sweetest I have had the pleasure of working with! Mama is expecting baby number two soon, so I’ll continue photographing their growing family’s journey. I’m so excited to meet their newest little love soon.

Mom and dad shared a bit of their journey to become parents with me while we were planning. Like so many, they struggled with infertility with both babies and were overjoyed when they found out about their precious girl and their newest addition coming soon after years of trying.

For Isla’s session, we leaned into all the girly things. We brought out all the lace and frills and had the best time playing dress-up. She gave us the sweetest smiles and had the most beautiful bright blue eyes. The color palette was so sweet, and she loved every minute of it, especially when mom joined in for a handful of portraits.

The Six-Month Milestone Sessions

Milestone sessions are always so fun, but the six-month milestone might just be my favorite. Babies are usually gaining a bit more independence and confidence, and it’s so fun seeing all the new skills they’re learning.

By six months, some babies are sitting up on their own. They’re coming into their little personalities. Watching them grow over the first year is the most adorable thing. I love the smiles that often have a tooth or two and how curious they are about everything around them.
